The task of the Safety Mats is to protect people against dangerous moving units in automated production processes. Typical areas of application are found for example on machines, systems and robots.
When the Safety Mat is stepped on, the machine or system is placed in a safe operating condition in that the drive is switched off. Mayser Safety Mats comply with the requirements for safety technology of the ISO 13856-1, ISO 13849-1. They are designed for large mechanical loads and can be used for millions of switching operations.
Within our range we offer Safety Mats in standard sizes. In the event of divergent material and shape requirements, we recommend our custom Safety Mat range for industrial applications.
Various surface toppings guarantee slip-resistance and resistance against chemical substances.
2 wire systems (SM/W) with built in resistor and 4 wire systems (SM/BK) are available.
Our custom built industrial range (SM) safety mats come in three different toppings:-
GM1 - black or yellow GM4 - black or yellow GM5 - green (heavy duty)
Also available are the SM8 range (in fixed sizes), and the SM11 range of safety mats for less industrial applications.
